Bioware was really jacked by EA into changing the ending, and Mordin’s dialog before he goes up in the elevator about having made a mistake was actually a secret apology by Bioware for having to bend to EA and give us a shit ending?

Yep. I romanced Thane. Dying Mother Fucker was to suave for my Femshep to resist in ME2. She killed the shit out of Kei Lang for ending Thane’s life early.
